Terms & Conditions

  • In accordance with the distance selling directive (2000) concerning customers in the European Union.
  • If you decide that you no longer require the goods you have ordered, they may be returned within 7 days of receiving them. Should you wish to cancel and return goods this will be at your own expense for a full product refund.
    This excludes perishable goods such as food or flowers*
  • You must inform us in writing before doing so, we cannot offer a refund if we have not been informed in this time period.
  • For any exchanges goods must be received back by us in perfect condition, again at your own expense, before any replacement goods are dispatched.
  • Goods must be returned to us in their original packaging, unused, undamaged and in perfect condition. It is the responsibility of the customer to insure that goods are adequately packaged and in the event of a return must obtain a proof of postage, we cannot refund on items, which are not received back by us.
  • Refunds are only returned in the same method as the original payment was made and to the same card, with out exception. Credits to the customer are made within 3 weeks.
  • If an item has been incorrectly supplied or if we have made a mistake in fulfilling your order, a full refund (including delivery costs) will of course be given.
  • We only dispatch goods Monday to Friday in office hours.
  • All printed/display colours are intended as a guide only, due to monitor and printing variations will never be a perfect match.
  • Pictures are not all to scale and measurements are given where appropriate.
  • We do not send confectionery out side the UK.
  • We do not dispatch chocolate products in extreme heat conditions.
  • We reserve the right to offer an alternative or dispatch at a later date.
  • We also cannot be held responsible for goods stored incorrectly. We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage resulting from such actions which are out of our control, howsoever incurred.
  • We cannot be held responsible for goods which are ordered less than 28 days from an event, all parcels require signatures and you should allow up to 14 days delivery. We obtain a proof of posting for all packages; once your parcel is dispatched the responsibility falls to the respective carrier.

    It is the responsibility of the customer not to sign for any package with eternal damage, or any package you are not entirely happy with, as an internal damage (if any) cannot be compensated for.

    The delivery charges are as follows, £0.00 - £99.99 in value...P&P is £5.99, £100.00 and over, the delivery is free.

  • In the unlikely event of your parcel being lost or undelivered by the respective carrier, and after all enquiries are exhausted, we will make every effort to replace or resend goods in time for your event.
  • By placing an order with us you are agreeing for us to send you information on new products or offers, we do not sell or share your information with any third parties. We only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the data protection act 1998) the information we collect is to process your order and to provide you with the best possible service. In order to process your payment we provide information to our account processors (including banks and other financial institutions) the type of information that we may hold about you is

  • All prices are inclusive of VAT
  • All copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights remain the property of their respective owners.
  • Sweet Art reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts and/or cancel transactions at our discretion. If we believe that the customers conduct is in violation or breech of any applicable law or our terms and conditions, or is harmful to the interest of Sweet Art.
  • This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. Contracts are established at the time of dispatch.
  • Shipping costs on returns to and from Sweet Art World are non-refundable.  To swap or change a (non-perishable product) the customer is also responsible for the cost to and from Sweet Art World.
  • Our packages are sent by 2 - 3 day courier (we will advise you of dispatch day by e-mail).  We can deliver to home or work addresses. If there is no reply the courier will leave a card with a phone number of the local depot, for you to arrange another deliver date. We hold reference numbers for all our drivers and calling cards for security. It is the customer's responsibility to be available when your parcel is delivered and, in the case of flats and multiple occupancy houses, to find your calling card. It is also the customer's responsibity to arrange re-delivery.

    Any instructions to leave parcel with anybody or other place other than the named customer and named address will be left at your own risk. If the courier cannot deliver the parcel it will be returned to the depot; they will attempt to deliver twice or only hold at the depot for a limited time.

    In the event of your parcel being returned to Sweet Art World you will be charged the full return fees and the delivery charges before your goods are dispatched again or refunded.
